I'm Milla, a gameplay designer at heart, located in Stockholm. I’m also interested in narrative and writing, and I’ve done a fair bit of programming/scripting as well.
I studied at Södertörn University, and have a bachelor's degree in game design and scripting (2013-2016). During my studies I aided Arrowhead Game Studios with additional writing, where I was responsible for item descriptions and some character dialogue in Gauntlet (2014).
In 2016 I teamed up with a graphical artist and we made Somnus, a sci-fi adventure game. I was responsible for the design, writing, and programming and the game was later nominated for Best Narrative Design by SGA (Swedish Game Awards '16).
For four years I was a Content Designer with Paradox Interactive, a role that allowed me to combine several of my strengths: gameplay/quest design, system implementation, and narrative writing. Released titles include expansions to Crusader Kings II (2012), such as The Reaper's Due (2016), Monks and Mystics (2017), Jade Dragon (2017), and Holy Fury (2018). I also helped out on the more character driven parts of Rights of Man (2016), a DLC for Europa Universalis IV (2013).
In 2019, I joined the team developing Crusader Kings III (2020), and I was mainly in charge of player onboarding.
As of 2020, I’ve been working at The Outsiders, first on Metal: Hellsinger (2022), doing systems design and more, and most recently I helped out with content design and writing on Dune: Awakening (2025).

However, Funcom recently shut down our studio here in Stockholm, so as of June 2026 I’ll be available for work.
