Dune: Awakening (2025, The Outsiders — Funcom)
What is this? A multiplayer survival game set in Frank Herbert’s Dune universe.
My role: Senior Designer. Did narrative design for dungeons, scripted content for contracts, and helped out with additional writing. Was also a manager for designers.
Metal: Hellsinger (2022, The Outsiders)
What is this? A critically acclaimed rhythm shooter, set in hell.
My role: System Design, then Lead Design. In charge of scoring system, player onboarding, difficulty progression and guiding our design team. Also did additional writing and narrative design.
Crusader Kings III (2020, Paradox Interactive)
What is this? The anticipated third installment in the Crusader Kings series.
My role: Content Design. Mainly in charge of player onboarding.
Holy Fury (2018, Paradox Interactive)
What is this? An expansion to Crusader Kings II (2012), focused on pagan and Christian gameplay.
My role: Content Design Lead. Planning the production of scripted content, coaching new hires, reworking old systems and creating new features according to design, while also polishing a lot of the written and scripted content being added in the biggest and best received DLC the game has seen so far.
Jade Dragon (2017, Paradox Interactive)
What is this? An expansion to Crusader Kings II (2012), focused on the expanding gameplay in the East.
My role: Content Design. Planning the production of scripted content, mentoring new hires on the project, seeing to more advanced system design for new features, while also still creating written and scripted content for the DLC.
Monks and Mystics (2017, Paradox Interactive)
What is this? An expansion to Crusader Kings II (2012), focused on the new Society mechanics.
My role: Content Design, i.e. making interesting things happen in game, from high concept idea, to implementation. Also mentoring new hires on the project.
Rights of Man (2016, Paradox Interactive)
What is this? An expansion to Europa Universalis IV (2013), focusing on several new features, among which are Ruler Personalities and Royal Consorts.
My role: Content Design. Character focus was needed in this DLC, and that being the Crusader Kings II specialty, I was put to make events about spouses, heirs and ruler personalities. I also worked on stories surrounding the history of Prussia, and old African religions.
The Reaper’s Due (2016, Paradox Interactive)
What is this? An expansion to Crusader Kings II (2012), focused on the Black Plague.
My role: Content Design. "You're supposed to be able to become immortal this time." Taking high-concept design, breaking it down into narrative events and interesting gameplay, and then seeing to implementation.
Gauntlet (2014, Arrowhead Game Studios)
What is this? A reboot of the classic arcade game, a 4 player co-operative action dungeon hack'n'slash.
My role: Additional writer. I was responsible for item descriptions and some character dialogue.
